Hello all !

I found this privy behind my cousins business in a small town in
Missouri. My name is Bill McCully, and I have been digging privies and dumps for
23 years. my favorite bottles are bitters, and anything with nice color. Here
is a picture of me and my oldest boy at a privy dig.

This was a fun dig. A brick liner from late 1890's. The last three feet the
bottles were stacked ! We ended up with 18 Hostetters bitters, one electric
bitters, one full size Dr. Harters wild cherry bitters, three local St.
Joseph Missouri whiskeys, one local hutch, 9 or 10 blown local crown top
sodas, one gallon and a half master ink jug (mint), one quart Hayner
whiskey, two nice porcelain doll heads, 2 eddy and eddy chemists St. Louis,
2 OD chemical works, 7-8 jo-jo flasks, dozens of unembossed whiskeys and
medicines of all sizes.

I still have not dug the old privies on this lot
yet. I have dug two so far. I will keep after it ! -Bill.
